

The Association of Senior Staff in Independent Schools (ASSIS)
AHISA (Vic) is a major constituent body of the Centre for Strategic Education (CSE) and CSE serves to support the development of leadership capacity in Independent schools through thought leadership, professional learning, publications and consultancy.
For many years, there has been a very strong partnership between ASSIS and CSE. While ASSIS remains a separate body, it draws upon CSE as its program co-ordinator and secretariat for the Association.
ASSIS aims to bring together senior staff in Independent schools to:
Most notably, ASSIS continues to assist in building leadership capacity within its membership contributing to developing leadership within their schools.
ASSIS meetings are held four times a year and are predominately hosted at schools in the Melbourne metropolitan region. The meetings take the form of a guest speaker and dinner and/or a discussion forum.
