This two day program is designed for anyone in a leadership position in education: principals, middle managers and policy-makers.

How do we best prepare our children for a world driven by automation, and artificial intelligence? How do we help schools to be centres of people powered innovation? How do we create a new paradigm for education, so that children can thrive, not just survive, loving learning and living well?

Drawing upon their respective recent books, Thrive and Open, Valerie and David help school leaders and policy makers create a roadmap to navigate an unpredictable future. This workshop features sharp provocations and practical workshop activities that will give educational leaders the tools they need to instigate change in their organisations. It will provide urgency to your plans, a future focus to your pedagogy, and agency to your students.

Areas covered:

  • The world in 2030

  • Growing transformational competencies

  • Creating cultures of open learning

  • The new open leadership: building your TEAM

  • Telling a different story

  • Developing Agency: the critical enabler

  • Connected learning

  • Your organisation: making it fit for the future
