Growth Coaching International (GCI) and the Centre for Strategic Education (CSE), are delighted to once again join forces to host the 5th National Coaching in Education Conference.
The 5th National Coaching in Education Conference promises to be the leading coaching event for Australian, New Zealand and Asia-based educators and leaders in 2017.
The conference program is designed for school and system leaders, teachers and parents interested in learning about how a coaching approach can positively impact student learning outcomes and wellbeing.
Coaching in educational contexts continues to grow and mature with today’s educators and leaders exploring a range of conversational contexts in schools where coaching can make a positive difference.
The theme of the 2017 conference is The Coaching Approach: Generating Learning. The conference will explore new knowledge, build collaboration and share progress in the field of coaching and all its applications in educational settings. Those various coaching contexts now include not only conversations between leaders with team members, but also teachers with each other, teachers with students, students with each other and even teacher parent interactions
There will be a range of sessions over the 2 days – with leading practitioners, academics, researchers and policy makers leading workshops, master classes and panel discussions - all exploring ways in which coaching is working - and can work even better - to enhance learning and well-being in schools.
In 2017, Keynote Speakers include:
Professor Lea Waters (AUS), Gerry Higgins Chair in Positive Psychology, University of Melbourne
